Since a lot of people missed the point of my last thread i decided to start from scratch. These two military titans never fought and i would like to brainstorm with the Sb community about what would have happened if they fought. For now I will stick to a few scenarios. 1. Napoleon decides not to fight in Egypt and Napoleon and Alexander meet in Italy. (Acts of ROB) 2. Suvorov is in command of the Russian forces at Austerlitz 3. Suvorov is incharge of the entire Russian army in 1812. Outside elements such as weather and disease do not affect Napoleon's forces.
I could see Suvorov turning the tide in either battle in 2 or 3, as they were pretty well-contested in both cases despite poor leadership on the part of the Russians. However I have to wonder about the comparison between Suvorov, who was well known for his energy, aggressiveness, and tactical ability, and Kutuzov, who despite his infamous inactivity at Borodino always seemed to have the correct strategic idea that Napoleon should be drawn as far east as possible and crushed at the end of his supply lines.
