Hmm - I took the "action" a bit more literally than that. But yes, the way it's worded, it could be a still image of the ship doing something. But an animation would be cooler and MUCH more likely to win.
Started work on a hypervoxel preset for asteroids and did up a quick alien ship for my crash site. Both still need some tweaking. The alien ship was done up in sculptris which is in it's alpha and currently free.
These are all amazing, I'm jealous of every entry so far especially as my 3d skills are "lacking". Keep up the good work! I'm eager to see a fully realized minecraft ship, that would be awesome!
I'm out. I just don't have time, and I'm just not feeling it. There's no way I'd even finish doing basic modeling, let alone a scene.
nice work so far RJB on a side note, I'm loving the minecraft version you are making kerrus, wouldn't have thought of using minecraft for that!
Well I managed to completely forget about this. Did anybody manage to get anything done? Shall we move on to another contest?
I didn't manage to finish my ship on account of the various changes to the minecraft server and much work on that end. I'm sure RJB has something mostly complete- certainly more than I have.
