I've been impressed how people post things on YouTube like compilations of Star Trek battles or merging battles from various Star Trek (and other sources) to create things like The Dominion War series. How do you contact the people who do those to suggest future project ideas? Is there any kind of copyright issues in doing so?
I once got permission to repost a video just by asking in the comments. But, that depends on the poster having left comment notification on. You can also leave a message on their page.
