  1. Arankor Lord Commander Militant

You are Attentus Prehenso, Rogue Psyker and leader of your very own band of downtrodden misfits. Ever since you officially begun operating a proper Underhive gang, you have experienced great progress, and just minutes ago you managed to convince a large group of Tribals to join you.

Unfortunately, you and the Tribals, led by Chief Jarvik, are currently under attack by an unknown aggressor. Suffice to say, you are not having a good time

    -----------------

You have Magnus and half of your remaining gangers lay down suppressive fire towards the general direction of the attacks.
Between the the autoguns and Magnus's heavy stubber, it proves very effective, and you even see several of the attacks slump down as they are torn apart by gunfire.

You have the other half of your gangers follow you, as you move to execute a flanking maneuver, running between the tents in the camp. Jarvik is following you, and multiple tribals are forming up behind him.

This does not go smoothly however, as the barks of several shotguns suddenly announce to you. You turn around to see several tribals fall over, their bodies torn apart by the shotgun pellets. You also notice their killers, a group of 10 men were hiding behind some of the tents some distance to the left of your group. They wear black clothing, with a single, green waving line on it.

Before you can even do anything, you see a brilliant yellow-orange beam lance through the air, spearing straight through one of the attackers, over-penetrating a second, then a third, and then seriously wounds a fourth. In an instance, almost half of the attackers are out of commission.

    What do you do?
  2. Our sniper did a good job, now we need to capitalize on it. Loudly command the enemy gangers(green snakes?) to surrender. If they accept, order out men to hold fire and order them to drop the guns and walk out with their hands in the air, then capture them.

If they refuse, keep shooting and use psychic senses to look for any more hidden enemies, but not intensively enough to reveal ourselves in the warp.
  3. inq101 Have you seen the yellow sign?

Go for this. Add the psychic intimidation thing we have.

We still want to try and outflank any survivors from the first group of attackers so we can't waste too much time here.
  4. RTM REEEEEEEE!

I question the validity (or whatever is the right word) of asking people to surrender, still, the plan looks fine to me. Inq's additions look fine too.
  5. [x] all the above
"Surrender murderers! Or be cut down where you stand!"
More of our own shots lance out at the ground beside the enemy.
"This is your last chance!" Attentus was growing impatient...
  6. Arankor Lord Commander Militant

Capitalizing on the recent loss, you order the attackers to surrender, loudly. In addition, you use send out a 'pulse' of fear against your opponents, in an attempt to influence their decision. They hesitate for but a second, but then resume their attack.

Luckily, that second was enough for you and your comrades to move out of the way. You fire your shotgun in the general direction of the attackers, the deadly hail of pellets ripping through a half a tent and then slamming right into an unlucky victim. Your gangers fire off their auto-guns, but in the chaos were unable to aim properly, and most of the bullets either miss or are stopped by whatever armor the agressors are wearing under their clothes.

The two las-pistol wielding gangers fare better, as a few of their shots hit home and one of the attackers fall over, dead.

With more 4/5ths of their number wiped out, the group of aggressors attempt to break and flee. They do not get far, as a group of tribals run them down and quickly killed them off.

Unwilling to run into more surprises, you cast out your psychic senses, in an attempt to find the enemy.
You manage to feel about two more groups similar to this one in other parts of the camp.

    What do you do?
  7. Usernames Fear the Almighty Blade Grasp

    Eliminate them.
  8. :-) Putting X into Y since...

Yeah we need to hunt them down then concentrate on the enemy gangers attacking from outside the camp,
  9. RTM REEEEEEEE!

Agreed, eliminate the enemy gangers inside the camp and then concentrate on anyone left outside, if there are any.
  10. inq101 Have you seen the yellow sign?

Get a couple of tribals to grab any bottles of the spirit they have handy and turn them into molotov cocktails. Use these to drive any other groups out of cover.

Point out the location of one of the enemy groups to Chief Jarvik ("I spotted a couple more snakes over there") and get him to try and sneak up on them with any available tribals.

Get any tribals who can use guns armed with whatever was dropped by the group we've just wiped out.

Try to knock out a couple of bad guys rather than kill them.

    In general
    -pin down the enemy
-isolate and outflank/sneak up on each group
-destroy them in detail, one group at a time
  11. RTM REEEEEEEE!

Uh... let's not use molotovs, too easy to set the camp on fire by accident. But other than that, your plan is good.
  12. No

    Yes
  13. inq101 Have you seen the yellow sign?

    OK, no fun with matches.

  14. creating proper molotovs takes time.

they can be upon us in minutes. barbarians perhaps are or are not experienced in making them and it might take hours.
  15. RTM REEEEEEEE!

Alright, seems we've got mostly a consensus for a plan, Inq's in particular (without the 'make molotovs' part though, because it would take too much time and could burn down the whole tribal camp by accident). Though, in all honesty, all of the voted on plans aren't mutually exclusive in my opinion, so we can do them all. Anyway, now we just wait for the update...

  16. Master Basher Just how long do you intend on continuing?

At the very least, we've offered a chance to surrender (enslave) to them, and they've ignored it. Now it's time to show no mercy, and PURGE the enemy forces. Don't stop until they are all dead or away like the cowards they are.
  17. inq101 Have you seen the yellow sign?

I'd like to capture one or two alive. They're a valuable source of intel.
  18. RTM REEEEEEEE!

Too much of a risk, if they throw down their weapons and raise their hands, maybe. But if not, I don't even want to expend the effort.
  19. Master Basher Just how long do you intend on continuing?

If I where to even 'spare' one/two, I'd just cripple/torture said bloke for any possible 'info' and execute them in public afterwards to show an example to what we will do to our enemies.
  20. RTM REEEEEEEE!

Public executions could work against us too, in the PR sense and maybe can piss off the Green Snakes and have them simply storm and wreck our shit, no, I vote against public executions.
  21. inq101 Have you seen the yellow sign?

The Snakes already hate us because we exist. That's their thing.

But I agree with no public executions. They should be unnecessary with our psy abilities in any case.
  22. Master Basher Just how long do you intend on continuing?

In that case, leave the 'execution' phase of our gang expansion until we think beyond doubt that we're ready to take on/annihilate the Green Snakes.

I'd certainly do interrogation/'Private Execution' though...
  23. inq101 Have you seen the yellow sign?

I'm thinking more along the lines of catch and release, with some mindfracking and turning them into sleeper agents for when we want to wipe out the Snakes at a later date.
  24. That seems like intense warp dickery and we really shouldn't do anything that can reveal us in the warp unless it's really necessary.
Keep in mind that the green snakes lost quite a few men here and we are about to loot their guns, so there is a good chance that we are about to have enough force to deterr them from messing with us.
  25. Arankor Lord Commander Militant

Oh look, I'm actually doing something. Just took me what, 4-5 days?

    ---------------

You immediatly decided to change objective. The other groups attacking the camp cannot be allowed to continue. You begin to move, people following you close behind. You use your psychic senses to locate the closest group, and you maneuver through the mess of tents trying to get there.

When you finally do get there, a grizzly sight meets you. A group of eight men stand in front of nearly thirty dead tribals, their bodies torn to pieces by shotgun shells and autorounds. You also notice that they are frantically reloading, apparently having expended their magazines on the slaughter you see before you.

Due to this, they are caught completely off guard, and your opening shotgun blast slams into the group, brutally wounding three of them.
The gangers following you open up shortly after, dropping several more.

However, one of the Green Snakes manage to reload his autorifle, and fires off a burst before he is dropped, clipping your armor and hitting one of your gangers straight in the chest, before he too is felled in turn.

A quick check confirms that your ganger is alive, but wounded. He won't be of any help for the rest of this fight.

Through it all you barely notice that orange-yellow beam fired from Tractus's long-las lance into the camp several times.

There are still two groups remaining, though they might have been reduced in number by now.

    What do you do?
