  1. Sliverlord Just waiting for you to walk by.

"Ah yes, you can get us something strong, very strong. We've just had some distressing news and need to drown our sorrows. I'll let you choose for us, since we're more used to drinks from a very different bar." I resisted the urge to pat her. "So something strong, surprise us." I finished, before dismissing her.

"Now, it seems either that we've jumped a long ways off, not impossible. Or that we're in a completely different dimension. Warp travel is funny like that."

"Commissar? What sort of talk is that?"

"Considering that trooper was ready to shoot, fairly accurate talk. Nobody here recognizes anything we've done, nor who we are. Their armor and manner are unlike any PDF or Guard regiment I've ever heard of or seen. Even their weapons." I tapped the disruptor hidden behind me. "This is completely new. Not even of Tau make, and those blueskins make a whole lot."

"So, we're in some other world? Some other dimension?"

"I don't know, and yet I do. It's all quite frakked up. But I've got the feeling that we are. So we're going to have to find a way to blend in, or otherwise avoid attention."

"A YT-1930 transport. It can carry 200 tons and a bit more. I depends on the location and cargo. I guess he only things I don't want to transport is slaves and narcotics."

    Corellia

As the group talked there was another sudden feeling of dislocation....And then a pulling sensation as suddenly the universe went 'snap' and the crew of the Ad Astra found themselves back onboard their Ship with their sensors saying they were on the other end of the Pandora Gate.
The Jackal blinked a bit and looked around, beyond the ships hull and to his sensors he saw a sea of stars with a planet nearby. It was not the planet he was expecting though, the planet they had traveled to was no longer there, instead it seemed to be a world of ice and snow, initial scans showed that there was no orbital debris and no initial signs of any sort of habitation....The presence in his head was gone and after several deep brain scans he found that nothing had been changed or damaged.
With a sigh Alex checked on everything and when he and the rest of the crew was satisfied he turned the ship about and began to explore the local system.

In a few hours he and the others would return to the flotilla. More famous then before....And soon memories of that strange galaxy would fade as if it had been nothing but a dream.

There was a voice in his head, 'You are a more interesting sort.' the voice whispers in his mind as Alex Kerensky pulsed his ship through the Gate through the Wilderzone, a war cry on his lips as the Imperial Ships followed in hot pursuit. They weren't all to happy that their fancy ship had been stolen back by the Tribals. And after all the trouble they had gone through to refit it to.
Spoils of War taken by the Starwolf in the name of the Great Bitch herself, what a victory for the Tribe

.....Still...Time seemed to have turned to syrup as the nose of the ship passed through the gate and for a moment the Warrior began to worry.
Finally the ship passes through and out onto the other side into what was supposed to be the Wilderzone....Which somehow was not the Wilderzone. Alex blinks a bit and looks through the bridge viewports and gives a feral growl, "Where the hell are we?" He says aloud as the other members of his Pack begin to go through the sensor feeds. " Aiya! No idea Fenris, still trying to work it out...Where ever we are it's not located on any of the maps." His Beta responds with an angry growl before smacking the side of the sensor station with the flat of his palm. "Whereever it is it's inhabitated...And there seems to be ship activity everywhere..." Alex nods and thinks for a bit, "Silver recognize any of those designs? Tribal? Imperial? Or something belonging to the Horde maybe?" He asks as he feels a presence settle in his mind. He was taken by surprise for a moment before the two minds became one and the Tribal nodded in sudden understanding.
"No Fenrir...To many designs...But none of them look anything even remotely Tribal....And nothing like Imperial designs I've ever seen." She says in more then a little curiosity.
The First Wolf nods, "Approach the planet cautiously and lets get a scan of the planet...I'm curious." Death Wolf looked over and gave a feral grin, "Weapons Live?"
Fenrir shakes his head, "Aiya! Would you Mock the Wolf to her Face? Weapons Off." he says as the ship began to power forward.

    OOC: Sorry for the delay.

"I need to speak to Salerno about some private business. I've been told he doesn't do such business except in person, so here I am."
  5. OOC: Sorry for the delay. I seem to choke with the character-level games. :(

"Well then, let's get to work," Scotty said cheerfully, smiling at the prospect of tinkering with the new technology. As they made their way out of the cantina, he kept a wary eye out, just in case any of the more disreputable customers did anything stupid.
  6. Obi Juan Kenobi Spacebattles' Resident Evil Cardinal

Ace: OOC: the CorSec guys are yours.

    Wire:
Corellia is not a pretty place to be.

There is the Vengeance along with another pair of smaller ISD's in orbit, and close to fifty other capships attacking.

All other traffic has either cleared out for hyperspace, or it dying to remain unnoticed.

    Sliver:

The Waitress returns with Antakarian Fire Dancers, an aptly named potent and firery drink.

After dropping them off she smiles and walks away moving off to another pair of customers.

OOC: price is 5 credits per drink

    Eagle:

He nods slowly "Good, we don't deal in either of those. I have a shipment here that needs to go to our sister planet VI.
With things heating up there, we need to get some weapons surplus up that direction."

    Bob:
The Selonian looks up "I prefer business in person, better to gauge the character of the being I'm dealing with. How may I help you?" he says politely.

    Fenris.

Obi Wan nodded and soon you where both back out in the sweltering heat.

After a bit of walking he pauses "I used to know the owner of this Junkyard. Let's inquire inside and see what we can find."
  7. "Aye," Scotty replied with a nod. He stepped inside carefully, giving his eyes time to adjust to the dim light. Once he could see again, he carefully strode his way in, casually looking over the various wares without touching any of it. A memory told him it would be an especially bad idea to poke the little eye on a little helmet with feet tucked up under it. He'd never seen a hyperdrive before, but he knew none of these parts were one. Perhaps there'd be something in the back... He glanced to Kenobi and went back to looking over the shop. "So, who is this friend of yours, anyway?" he asked.
  8. Obi Juan Kenobi Spacebattles' Resident Evil Cardinal

    Fenris:

"Nic was an old timer, he's lived here many years. We grew close over the last few years"

He motions to the back "A hyperdrive would be out back, too large for the inside of this shop."

A moment later a slender man with greying hair comes from outside "Ben! It's been a few months. I thought you had left town."

"No Nic, I have merely been busy. I have a friend here though has need of a hyperdrive. May we look out back?"

"Of course, let me show you what we have. "

He motions you to follow and goes out to the yard.

    Ace:

When all entered into the vessel, Corran pulls you over. "Lucky we had you come around at the perfect time."

His eyes narrow a bit. "A bit too lucky, and too perfect a timing."

He pauses about to speak when Hal came over and wrapped an arm around his sons shoulders.

"Let's not look a gift Bantha in the mouth. We should be glad we all made it out alive."
  9. "Hal, Corran, let's talk in private. We've got things to discuss, but before that, I'll need to get the ship underway." Marcus replies, then turns on the intercom. "Cora, this is Marcus, get us out of here, op plan able."

"Aye aye commander." Cora replied from the bridge, and the people onboard the ship could feel the pull as the ship jumped into hyperspace.

"Follow me." Marcus motioned to the two Horns, they both followed him, Corran more hesitant than his father.

They were soon at the captain's quarters. A modest room. But the room does provide some privacy. After gesturing them to sit down, Marcus pulls out his Jedi medallion. Carefully putting it in the table so that Hal can see it.

"You see, Hal Horn, we've got more in common than you know. Marcus Johnson isn't my birth name. Its a name I took once the Clone Wars was over." He pauses. "I doubt you've told your son your real past."
  10. Sliverlord Just waiting for you to walk by.

"Huh, interesting brew..." It certainly was surprising, powerful taste, no aftertaste. "But as I said, we're going to have to either find some sort of job. I fear that we'll never see home again."

I checked the bag that had been pulled from the life-pod. It was full of chits, probably local currency. I picked out what looked to be thirty. A fancy thing that I would have money right off the bat. This was too convenient.

We'd finished our drinks, and stood up, heading for the door leaving an extra handful of chits. Hopefully we'd find someone to help us.
  11. WireWolf Sexy Wolf God

Kerensky growls a bit as he see's the ships attacking the planet, the others remaining silent. With a nod the Starwolf regards the scene with a studied eye.
"Bring us towards the planet slowly and turn on the distress beacon....If it looks as if any of those ships turn their attention towards us or if you see one of those turrets about to pop us reverse course...." He says carefully.
"If we can lets try and slip onto the planet..." He says with a nod.
  12. BobTheNinja Wandering Through Cyberspace

"No argument there," I reply. "I saw the news about those CorSec officers who ran into trouble with Imperial authorities. I'm not exactly a big fan of the current administration, so to speak, so I'd like to give them a hand getting off of Corellia as soon as possible. Word has it that you're the person to talk to regarding their current status and whereabouts. Can you help me out?"
  13. EagleBlue Kill! Kill! Kill the BETA!

OOC: Sorry for the late response.

We head out to the spaceport and load the goods into the Blue Runner. He gives me a bunch of contacts in case I needed some help and a list of what to do and not to do. After the goods were loaded and checked, the Blue Runner launches into space and goes to Tantive VI. Later, the ship arrives and I'm in the process of finding nearest port to deliver the goods.
  14. Citrakite It's no fun when you know the trick already.

    Mos Eisley

The Dust Storm had delayed their landing as space control was trying to divert them away but after a few hours the worst had blown through and they landed in Docking Bay 99.

They'd split into two groups and hit up all the low-lifes and infomation peddlers to see where Chioyan had run off to and here he was hiding his scrawny Duro hide. Kirano and Nezu would take the west side. Cat and Celia would take the east. R4 would watch the ship and see if he found anything on the local holonet.

Kirano checked his blaster then put it back under his cloak. "Remember, I need him alive. He's no good to us if he's dead as corpses can't sign transfer pads or input their data codes. If one of us finds where he is contact the others and wait for backup. Chioyan is a coward but a well protected one."
  15. Obi Juan Kenobi Spacebattles' Resident Evil Cardinal

    Ace:

Hal's face reveals nothing, and he says nothing, but Corran's face grows slightly skeptical, "You're implying that my father is a Jedi? He's not. Grandfather was a friend to Jedi, but none of us where or are Jedi, or Force Users.."

His voice trails off as he looks at this father "Dad?"

Hal shakes his head and looks to you "How did you know?"

He looks back at Corran, "My father was a Jedi, Neeja Halycon, he died, and Rostek, took us in, and made us his family. He did it to protect us from the Emperor's and Vader's purges."

    Sliver:

A few armored men in strange armor, with rifles slung over their shoulders are watching you. It's obvious to them that you are dangerous beings, and they are looking for a few extra mercs. They are rather hesitant to come over though.

The waitress smiles and waves goodbye when she sees you leave.

Wire: Thankfully as long as you don't look like a threat, both Corellian and Imperial vessels avoid you, except if you get too close. Down planetside Control is too busy working with the Planetary Fighter Defense picking the wings of TIE's. You can land, and most likely, landing will be free.

Though there are plenty of fighters for both sides over the city of Coronet.

    Bob:
He pauses "I heard they were in the company of a Merc group. I contacted a director, and he said there were being moved off planet. A perfect time too. Lot's of pretty fireworks going on up stairs I hear." He points upward as the sounds of laser fire is faintly heard "Sal-Solo that dirty rat decided that he wanted a coup. He even pulled Fliry Vorru out of Kessel"

    Eagle:
The planet is under a backplanet Imperial Governor, and the first thing you notice is the pair of Loronar Strike Cruisers in orbit.

Other than that it's quiet, and making port is easy, and cheap. Now you just wait for your contact.
  16. CIDE The voice says I'm almost out of minutes!

Braddock And Ayla however were wishing to speak with those in control for information. The arrival of other odd and potentially one of a kind ships that may have been located around Tatooine currently. Of course assuming that the Al'kesh's sensors hadn't already picked them up (my bad on not mentioning that I was going to attempt to scan for that). This would go past just the presence and location of the ships as far as information went; she was interested in the location of the crews.

OOC: Sorry about late post. Never saw the alert for this thread.
  17. WireWolf Sexy Wolf God

After a bit of piloting the Starwolf ship descends through the atmosphere and lands on the outskirts of the city. Hovering a few hundred feet up. The ships defenses and shields were activated to full. The pack met in the ships dock. Each figure giving a nod from within their suit of armor, it seemed there was currently a war on. And the Starwolves would not wade out into a combat zone without their armor and weapons.
After the group was fully loaded the doors open up and each member of the team jumps from the side of the vessel, the ship cloaking behind them as they activated their jumpacks and made their way towards the city.

"Do not fire unless fired upon...Our duty is to find out where we are and what Tribe controls this territory Aiya?"
"Copy Fenrir." he gets a chorus of replies as they land on the crest of the hill and ski down, their speed picking up as they reach the city.
  18. Sliverlord Just waiting for you to walk by.

Well, that was better than I'd hoped. At least we can still charm the waitstaff. Though those odd men might be worth talking to. I waved my squad along towards the door, and looked directly at them before giving a short wave to them. Hopefully they'd get the message. If they had something for us to do, then that would be worth it. I remembered that there would be some use in having contacts here. With luck, it would be these men who seemed to have a job. Though I would also have to find out where we were and what was going on. Different Empires? Insane.
  19. Marcus gives a sigh. "I knew your father, we met a few times during and before the Clone Wars. Thats how I know, he was a good man. You likely saw me on Corellia during those times. But you don't recognize me now as I've had extensive changes done to myself in both my appearance and voice in order to evade the purge."

"Just as you were saved from the purges by members of CorSec, I was helped as well by members of CorSec, one of the reasons why I am alive today."
