Anyway, the idea of this thread is the same as the one behind the excellent Fate/Stay Night fanfic, Fate/Inertia Dawn: instead of historical figures, the Masters of the Fifth Grail War summon fictional characters. Any character is acceptable, so long as they've done something awesome enough to qualify as a Heroic Spirit. Feel free to include their Class, abilities, Noble Phantasms, and Master. Any ideas? EDIT2: We've had some problems with people asking about submitting historical characters, a la canon Nasuverse. So, I'm putting up a nice big notice: THIS THREAD IS FOR SUMMONING FICTIONAL CHARACTERS AS SERVANTS ONLY. HISTORICAL CHARACTERS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Please take historical Servant ideas to the general Nasuverse thread. Summoning fictionalized versions of historical characters, such as the 300 version of King Leonidas, is acceptable. EDIT4: SirLagginton is the demi-god of this thread. His word is law here, except when contradicted by me, the One True God of this thread. So pay your respects to us, puny mortals! All the magical girls, sailors, shrine maidens, and any other loli magical user you can think of are allowed, so long as they fit the concept of 'magical girl'. Spreading love and magic and happiness is not a requirement, but defiantly encouraged. Any of the darker magical girls (*glares at Puella Magi Madoka Magica) should be the exception, not the rule. Some chucklehead ROB poked a hole in Gaia's supreme Reality Marble, allowing the Grail to access Heroic Spirits of alien races. Please, make any Servant summoned either a specific example of an alien (Spock would be acceptable, 'Vulcan' would not), or else an alien race that is inherently legendary and has no concept of individuality, such as the Xenomorphs from Alien. Because these Heroic Spirits are fundamentally ALIEN, custom, alien classes are to be expected, but not required. Note that only natural, biological aliens are allowed; robots made by any species or a biological, human-created species should not be considered. A WAR SO MASSIVE IS SCOPE, ONLY EXTRA-LARGE, BOLD, ALL-CAPS FONT CAN DO IT JUSTICE! THESE SERVANTS ARE SO POWERFUL, THEY MAKE THE PANSIES UP IN CURBSTOMP LOOK LIKE LIMP-WRISTED PENCIL-PUSHERS! THERE ARE NONE STRONGER!!! Somehow, something awful has happened, and Gaia has died. The other TYPES are desperately trying to maintain her failing supreme Reality Marble, but they can only maintain reality as we know it for another month at the most. A new TYPE has to be recruited from the ranks of the most powerful Heroic and Divine Spirits, but only the single most strongest will suffice. So the TYPES hijack the Grail War, combining their strength to supercharge the grail beyond imagining and summoning Servants so powerful the human mind cannot comprehend their scope. The winner of this war doesn't just get a wish - they become GAIA ITSELF. (NOTE: Due to the overpowered nature of all Servants here, assume a new stat scale. I have three proposals for new missions. I know that there has been trouble with missions of late, but I'd still like to get these ideas out: Fate/Poké Ball- A war featuring Pokémon trainers as the Servants. Since all the Servants will likely have Pokémon, their ability to access them would probably be a Skill unless there's a special legend attached, at which point it would go under a Noble Phantasm. I think that with enough work we could find one for each class. Fate/Stay Confusion- Not sure about the name, but this is for fictional historical or mythological heroes. The idea is, the Servant summoned is from a legend on Earth, but actually comes from a fictional universe. For instance, Herucles from Legendary Journeys. Fate/Martial Arts- A War involving martial artists. I think that with enough work we could find one for each class.
I, too, have three suggestions Fate/Bloodsucking Fiends- a HGW where everyone summons a vampire. Alucard as Archer, Evangeline as Caster, and so on. Extra points if Twilight is dissed incessantly. Fate/Wait, what?- the HGW goes... weird. Well, weirder than normal. Servants like the Skyrim Horse are summoned. Fate/RPG Protag- Main characters from recent RPGs are the servants. Hawke as Caster, and so on.
Jade has Bec's powers. Now show a feat for Bec or Doc Scratch (or Jack Noir, another First Guardian-powered character) that indicates any of them are reality warpers. Too powerful to be summoned? Yes. Reality warpers? Not that we've seen. Omnipotents? Definitely not. Their supposed omnipotence... isn't. At all. Either Hussie is using the term more wrongly even than it is usually used, or the narrator is unreliable. With that said, Jade is far too powerful to be summoned (an equivalently powerful character had a universe-destroying attack), and even much less powerful God Tier characters would presumably count as Divine Spirits, and hence couldn't be summoned. However, due to the mechanics of God Tier ascension, you COULD make an argument for summoning the versions of the Homestuck cast from when they "died" to ascend, with just their innate and class powers. Fate/Stay Home Saber: Dave or Bro Lancer: Tavros Rider: John (Maplehoof, the Slime Ghost), Tavros (rocket car and beast mastery), Bro (unreal air) or Eridan (seahorsedad) Archer: Equius (1/2bowkind), or Jade, Eridan or Jake (gunners) Berserker: Gamzee Caster: Jade, Feferi or Rose (with Rose having the most obvious abilities for this) Assassin: Due to the weird class requirements, it seems none of them would qualify. Saver: The Sufferer, possibly Karkat or Aradia Ruler: Feferi, the Condesce Avenger: The Sufferer, maybe?
Just gonna remind you all, the missions have been discontinued. Unless Lag feels like doing them, but I doubt he has the time.
Not sure what to name Fate/Stay Confusion. Maybe Fate/"Real" Confusion? I submitted a couple of possibilities in the last thread: Mulan (Disney/Kingdom Hearts), Meda (Pyramid series), and Arachne (Pyramid series). Someone from Hercules: Legendary Journeys would be good too. I hope that someone takes up at least one of my ideas. Unfortunately, I really am not the best with Nasuverse physics. Too bad so many missions are dead now.

Well there are some points where Bec has 'teleported' stuff but such as this panel but its not quite reality warping. I never even said that she was a reality warper anyways, just that Bec was omnipotent. Take a look at what Jack did when he was powered up by Bec. He destroyed an entire universe with Red Mile. If that isn't someone who could be considered omnipotent then I don't know who could. Anyways, are the god tier characters actual divine spirits or do they just have god-like powers and (conditional) immortality? Does being able to die still make them divine spirits? I'd like to say no just so you could summon them XD Also, I'm not sure any of the trolls could be summoned as Servants since they aren't human.
There was a non-zero chance Jack could lose a fight to Vriska. He's not omnipotent. It's also not completely clear if Red Miles was a First Guardian power or Jack's power as the cancer in the human universe; Snowman's death ended the troll universe, but that does seem to have been a power Scratch gave her, so maybe. I'd be inclined to say it would make them divine spirits, but then, I also think the God Tiers are much too powerful to be summoned as Servants (non-zero chance for Vriska to beat a universe-destroyer, John is arguably a planet-killer). What's wrong with their pre-God Tier forms? Sad yet true. To get them involved, you'd have to have an Alternian Grail War where the Ancestors were summoned, and then have Zelretch cause a Double Mobius Grail War Reacharound.
I think Fictiondevourer suggested a Fate/Space Battles for space opera/milscifi. I'd like to second it.
Maybe the Dragonborn is better suited as a counter guardian. What we need is a list of known feats-for example when DB was known to take down whole strongholds of soldiers, via cutting them all/silent death/FIREBALLS. Just for the fun of name confusion and all the fun dialogue he'll have with Archer of this HGW: Calss: Saber True Name: Adrian Fahrenheit Tepes Alias: Alucard Alignment Dickish Good Stats: Strength: B Agility: A Endurance: B Mana: C Luck: D NP: A Class Skills: Magic Resistance: C As Saber himself never had any particular magic resistance in his life, this skill is rather low. Though he has ways to compensate this. Skills: Battle Continuation: A Makes possible to fight even with deadly injuries and can remain alive so long as one does not receive a decisive fatal wound. Bravery: A Saber is highly resistant to any mental influence, and aggressively so. Eye of the Mind (True): B Capable of calm analysis of battle conditions even when in danger and deduce an appropriate course of action after considering all possibilities to escape from a predicament. So long there is even a 1% chance of a comeback, this ability greatly improves the chances of winning. High-Speed Divine Words: B Though his spell arsenal is rather limited, Saber is very quick at manifesting them. Nature of a Rebellious Spirit: B Projectile (Daggers, Axes, Holy Water bottles, Ricocheting stones): B Thrown projectile weapons are now comparable to bullets. Shapeshift: B Saber is capable to shifting into three forms - giant bat, a wolf and a cloud of mist at will, though sustaining those forms requires mana. Mist forms gives Saber immunity to all physical attacks and bulk of magic ones, but renders himself incapable of attacking. Bat form has ability to detect invisible objects in the vicinity and attacks with fireballs. Wolf form is incredibly fast. When equipped, Alucard Mail boost servants Magic Resistance by two ranks with extra protection against Fire, Ice and Lightning magic. Alucard Sword is capable of teleporting it's wielder a short distance - usually right behind the enemy. Alucard Shield can easily block any physical attack below A rank, but it's true power can be unlocked only in combination with certain items. Alucart Gear Type: Support/Anti-unit Rank: D A set of magic light armor, a shield and a sword, identical in looks to Alucard Gear. Each individual item is useless on it's own. Whell full set of Alucat Gear is equipped though, Sabers stats change as follows: STR B-, AGI A-, END B-, LCK A. Reality Marble: Castlevania Type: Anti-unit/Anti-Army Rank: A As a final option, Saber can call upon the castle of his father and force it to manifest in the world. The castle itself is a masterpiece of malevolent architecture and dark magic, full of evil creatures that can both repel a siege and deal with intruders. Only stronger of heroes will be able to to go through all of them to face Saber in the top room of the castle keep. When inside his RM, Saber can use his other NPs and abilities without paying the usual mana cost. Though it should be noted, that Saber would more likely require a Command Seal usage to summon this NP.
How about a few new missions? Fate/Branching Realities - Instead of summoning the canonical fictional characters, only characters from noted AU fictional works of fictional works can be summoned. So, for instance, it would be possible to summon Servant HIRAGA, or to summon the Negi trained by Eva since childhood, or to summon the Harry Potter from Wizard of the Kaleidoscope etc. OR Fate/RPG Hero - In this mission, only the protagonists of popular RPGs can be summoned. Guys like Chaz, Max, Cress, Cloud etc. Or, girls like Lightning, Alis, etc. We don't discriminate when it comes to world-saving heroes/heroines, after all.
Branching Realities sounds like a War with fanfic portrayals of characters a Servants, rather than the characters themselves. Am I wrong?
Pretty much, yeah. You can also include versions of characters who you;d expect to exist based on changes to the timeline - like in the Tainted Ideals fic.
God no. I'd like to take the time to clarify that I absolutely hate how widespread this 'Ree' meme has become. Honestly, the 'Ree' are basically as far as you can get from canon Rei's presonality, and their origins and existence is completely nonsensical. I'll probably be taking up the mission myself, so I'll just take the time to point out - no Ree. At all.
