I kind of want to see the Senshi be helped by gladiator/Heroic Spirit-ish astronauts now.

I'm told that is a natural reaction.

Now, doubtless people have considered fusing Sailor Moon with Negima before; it has more than enough potential for awesome.

But here's an idea I like better:

Steal only the 'functionality' of the Magical World, the 'pocket dimensionness' of it. When the Silver Millennium set up their colonization projects, they didn't dome or terraform the planets... they 'anchored' off of them, used their natural mana fluxes to power immense pocket dimensions slightly aside from normal space.

...and contrary to the belief of the Senshi in canon, these were not destroyed. True, there was good reason to believe they had been, for Beryl and Metallia did ruin the mighty mana collectors that fed their existence...

...but the sacrifice of Queen Serenity didn't just send forward the souls of the dead - she also stabilized the pocket dimensions, sent them into a kind of hibernation, where time moved slow and strange.

Even so, so much time has passed that subjective decades have gone by for the survivors of the wracking disasters that have afflicted the damaged worlds...

...Especially since, with the waking of the Senshi, the 'condition' of the stasis spell has been met, and the worlds are once more 'waking up'.

They will quickly starve and unravel if their collectors are not repaired, and quickly.

And so, the Senshi are called to action...

to save The Severed Spheres.

Now I had an idea, we've talked about the Senshi growing up on things like other worlds before right? and alternate earth's as well, how about Naruto's earth? would the girls be ninja or civilians? would they have active chakra networks before becoming the senshi? would they be noticeable by the chakra sensitive? what effects would their battles with their foes have on the Ninja world as a whole? what effects would they have on the main cast?

Here, have a present. I pulled this out of the archives over on Fukufics.

Senshi vs Touhou Astronauts huh? Well I can see were this is going. If it is anime Senshi they are screwed. If it is Manga Senshi................hahahhahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Armstrong and Aldrin don't stand a chance in hell of winning against them. But I doubt the two teams would fight. Manga Senshi teaming up with them would create an overpowered team of sheer awesome that would have every villain running away in pure terror.

I was considering making two "past" Pretty Cure Teams for Battle Fantasia history to show that there have been a lot of Cures in the past..

1950's: a Seasons based team trying to preserve the harmony of nature against the encroaching forces of modernization, in the form of monsters born from machines who wish to destroy the planet's capacity to support organic life. They are led by Steel Heart, originally a magitech machine created to protect life by an ancient civilization. Gaining sentience over time it saw the pain living things inflicted on each other and decided that earth would be better without "living" things as they only bring destruction to themselves and others. It was sealed away long ago only to be released by accident during WWII. Using the negative emotions of mortals to create horrible monstrosities from technology it intends to destroys the magical control systems of the seasons rendering the planet incapable of supporting life.

1970's: Space Based: mankind's entry into space attracted unwanted attention. White Nova a being born from an exploding sun has come to our solar system. It destroys stars and absorbs the released energy to become even stronger. However it is being manipulated by Dark Space, a sentient being made of Dark Matter who despises light and wishes to destroy all stars allowing it and the rest of it's kind to reign over a darkened universe. Cure Meteor(Fire based) and Cure Comet(Ice Based) must face both these forces in order to prevent the universe from losing it's light forever.

Your little plot bunny has given me an idea. I use one of my original Cure teams and make Naru and others Pretty Cure. Usagi is the constantly targeted best friend who eventually finds out Naru's secret. In other words Role Reversal, except Usagi actually finds out that her friend is a magical girl. Then the Sailor Moon story starts and Usagi influenced by Naru and the other Cures starts kicking Youma ass Pretty Cure Style, and has Naru and her comrades as backup causing several WTF!? moments from Luna, Artemis, the other Senshi and the Dark Kingdom.

Here is another Pretty Cure related plot bunny. Cosmos is the embodiment of the concept of "Existence and the desire to protect that state". Chaos is the embodiment of the concept of "Nonexistence and the desire to return all things to that state" Usagi is in essence the avatar of Cosmos, and one can assume that Metallia, Death Phantom and the rest of the Chaos Spawn count as it's avatars. In Futari wa Pretty Cure we have the Queen of Light the embodiment of the concept of "Creation" and the Dark King who embodies the concept of "Destruction".

All four of these forces are fundamental parts of reality and could in essence be considered siblings due to their nature as indispensable parts of the makeup of the universe the same way that cosmic forces in other settings are considered siblings at times. In Max Heart the second season of Futari wa Pretty Cure the Queen of Light and the Dark King gain there own "avatars" Hikari and Hikaru respectively. Now imagine that they gravitate towards their "kin" instead of what happens in cannon. Hikari AKA Shiny Luminous with Sailor Moon and Hikaru the Life of the Dark King with Death Phantom during the whole Black Moon arc. Now imagine the chaos this will cause to the established plotlines of these two series.

This actually sounds interesting. They could get actual magic tutors so that they know how to do more that point and blow stuff up.

To be honest I had not really considered having the Senshi actually fight Armstrong and Aldrin. In fact I'm not all that familiar with Touhou or its Memes so I had not considered using Touhou Armstrong and Aldrin (but frankly that doesn't matter much. You do not fuck with guys who went to the fucking moon in a rocket)

The idea wasn't really meant to go beyond the one punchline.

It took me a bit to find an appropriate name for a monster to have sealed on the moon from before the fall of the moon kingdom especially after I learned my first choice was already the name of one of Saturn's moons. Fortunately I found and alternate name for the same beast, Managarmr or Hati, the wolf that chases the moon in Norse Myth and devours it at Ragnarok.

That would indeed be awesome I would totally support that.

heh, if this idea still has the magical world from Negima on Mars then Sailor Mars is going to be pissed if she tries to lay claim to her world and finds not only people living there, but people with their own government and civilizations that are not going to consider her claim remotely valid.

The Senshi exist in the Nasuverse. They don't get their powers from the planets, they get it from the Types, and every time they transform they lose a little more of their humanity...

But when they find out that the Senshi are literally the living manifestations of their planets people are going to be pissing their pants. When a living being who can access all of the mystical power of the planet you live on is pissed at you then you know you are f***ed. In addition this would mean that the Lifemaker did not create the Magical World but in fact stole it from it's rightful ruler Sailor Mars. Hell the whole system using the Grand Master Key might be a way to subvert the system that supports the Magical World to her will.

When Sailor Mars comes around and finds out what has been done to her homeworld since one stupid idiot wanted to play God heads will roll, especially when she finds out about how corrupt the government of the Magical World is. Since the whole "living avatar of the planet" trumps anything the Lifemaker can bring out. Unfortunately if she were try to assert her control of the System Sailor Mars may end up breaking the entire damn thing.

Whatever the case Sailor Mars right's as the Sailor Senshi of Mars definitely trump anything anyone else has. Fortunately like Mamoru she probably won't try to assert this and mess with the established political system. Unless they really piss her off, which is in fact quite likely considering how dickish some of the politicians there are. Oh well not like anyone in Negima stands a chance against even one Manga level Senshi, and once people find out that Rei is in fact a nice person once you get to know her and in the right I'm sure several people (Negi) would support her. Especially since she and the other Senshi represent to best way to resolve the whole "impending destruction of the Magical World" issue. That alone would make an interesting story.

No, better yet they are Types bound into human form and controlled by human emotion through the actions of one grand sorceress serenity during the age of the gods. This supported her own ascendance to godhood.

I also keep feeling like it might makes more sense to have Serenity be Type-Moon, and Usagi to have Arcueid's rough abilities/nature. As for how all the types got transfigured given that Serenity would have to be evil given that, blame either author fiat or Zelretch.

It should be noted that a number of the leaders of the magical world are colossal dicks and probably deserve to get their asses lit on fire by Sailor Mars. The more reasonable leaders would still be hesitant to just hand over authority of the planet regardless of how powerful the Senshi are. But these are people who can be reasoned with and can work out some sort of arrangement.

It is rather doubtful that any member of the Senshi would just force their rule onto the inhabitants of their planets anyways. I mean in Canon Sailor Moon is only going to become ruler of Crystal Tokyo (and by extension Earth and the Moon) after the big future disaster or whatever destroys earth's society and government. At most the senshi would probably just ask for acknowledgement of their status as the planets avatar, maybe something like a constitutional monarch, and as a representative of the court of the new moon kingdom (which will probably end up bringing the other planets into a union over time).

You should hug her, you'll feel crystal clear afterwards. :drevil:

That was pretty much what I was going for. The Senshi are NICE people unless pushed. I cannot see them ever trying to forcefully assert control over their respective planets if said planets are inhabited, unless it is the only way to prevent complete annihilation. Of course they would try every other option available first. But even then Sailor Mars showing up would cause some serious ripples, especially since she is in essence Mars itself and as such has a right to have a say in how things happen on her planet. So a story where she tries to help the Magical World and is up against the Complete Bastards that are causing so much trouble would be interesting.

Mooncats are cats. That is all you need to know. They find torture to be entertaining, and play with their food until it passes out before eating it. When they go human form... they still are cats and may play with a few obstructive government personnel before disposing of them.

Now I remember in Shadow Crystal Mage's 2814 mass crossover universe Gilgamesh was alive during the Silver Millennium.


Well I'm imagining something similar in this case. Gilgamesh was one of Several powerful rulers of Earth, one not on as good terms with the Moon Kingdom as Endymion's nation.

However he was invited to the ball the night that Moon Kingdom fell, Enkidu convinced him to attend and accompanied him there.

During the Conflict the two of them engaged a colossal Bull monster of Metallia and defeated it which left Enkidu mortally wounded. Gilgamesh was one of very few survivors, while Enkidu's soul was sent forward in time just like the Senshi.

With this knowledge Gilgamesh sought out the elixir of immortality, and unlike the legends he found it. The Fall had left Earth in ruins and Uruk destroyed. He ruled his ruined kingdom for a time but then left it to his mortal followers and descendants to find other ways to pass the time before his friend was reborn. He traveled the world seeking treasures and wonders of the past as well as worthy individuals to have as companions for a time.

And now the Senshi and the Dark Kingdom have returned to the world, to find the King of Heroes has been waiting for them.

Not sure who to have Enkidu come back as but his introduction will probably involve punching out a dark general or powerful Youma with his bare hands.

Gilgamesh's travels and occasionally sharing immortality potion could be an excuse to bring in some of the heroic Spirts if one did not want to try and deal with the hassle of applying the various structures and rules of the nasuverse to the Sailor Moon universe.

Example Arturia really is recovering from her wounds in Avalon, until the time of Sailor V when a magical threat to her land leads her to emerge into the modern world. Iskander has secretly been serving as the adviser to a number of famous conquerors and generals over the course of history. and so forth. its an easy to use plot device for those who know the Fate series part of the Nasuverse better the Tsukihime part.

Galaxia in her search for her planet encounters our solar system and sees earth. A planet filled with life without a senshi something she had never seen before in her journey across the galaxy. Surely, this means that this has to be her planet and like any good senshi she has to protect it.

Fast forward a bit and Metallia starts to wake up, breaking the seal and Usagi awakens as Sailor Moon. But with a strange Golden Soldier from a far away system who pushes her into a role as a underling. Galaxia is the strongest soldier in the galaxy of course, she deserves to be leader and Usagi who just wants to be a normal girl gladly accepts this role with Luna, Minako and Artemis pushing Usagi to be more assertive.

Metallia would probably be the worst opponent possible for someone like Galaxia anything she does would make Metallia stronger. Galaxia unused to friends and such would probably become pretty attached to Usagi like she became near the end of the manga. She would be her first friend after all. By the time Black Moon comes around, Galaxia would probably consider all the senshi friends and not ask why it's Crystal Tokyo instead of her Golden Kingdom that she always imagined.

Though eventually of course eventually she'll learn that once again she hasn't found her precious planet. Would she break down and runaway? Wonder if Mamoru is just lying in order to usurp her planet and the rest of the other senshi are in on it. Or like canon, Chaos whispers in her ear and she decides to utilize Guardian Cosmos in the name of finding her planet. I doubt any version of Galaxia exposed to Usagi would be a galaxy killer like canon though.

Oooh, Usagi as a new art or PoliSci teacher at Mahora perhaps? Since I think, if you don't fudge with the timeline, Senshi would be in their mid 20s, wouldn't they?

Well, put it this way, they can't be Sailor Senshi, but they can still be Guardian Senshi, its just really damn rare.

Anyway, I would like to think Mamoru would quickly rival the Senshi once he gets the hang of using the Golden Crystal (no Earth in it, btw), considering he was able to survive the same things as rest of the Senshi, like Saturn's Glaive Drop, got out of one Nehelennia's illusions before they did, all without free access to the thing.
