  1. Citrakite It's no fun when you know the trick already.

    Crimon Skies, mekton, and Battletech.

1: Dragon Age It'd be nice to do a real RP in this setting.

4: Serenity: Each of us would need our own ships as to be Captain we'd turn the rp into an episode of Boat Murdered... it's the SB way. :D

Other then that it'd take finding some VERY dirty secrets to make a difference, and the only thing I could think of to get us in deep would be making each of us Readers on a different planet/ship.

    5: Rifts

Aside from speeding up the power crawl so we don't have to plant ourselve in a magic university for a decade or two. I'd say start from year 90 or so and work up.

    6: Battletech

Way to many of these already.

    8: ShadowRun

Everytime anyone has tried to start one of these it doesn't last a week. The setting doesn't seem to work on a forum.

    9: World of Warcraft

While the idea of NPC being more then quest dispensers is nice, I think most are sick of the setting.

    10: Nightbane
    Read it never played it.

    No 11: Battlestar Galactica
Oh fuck that after seasons 3 through whatever I don't want anything to do with this crap.

Yes 13: A Wheel of time: To pull the head from the asses of any of these twits we'd need a serious ace in the hole. Otherwise we'd be forced to watch, as ego screws everything up.

Yes 16: Exalted It's been a while since anyone ran one of these.

If I were to run a game in Serenity, it would be Cowboy Bebop meets Red Dead Redemtion. If I were to run BSG...I'd do one of two things.

For BSG, discard the whole of events after they find earth and do something else entirely regardless of choice. Take it in a whole new direction. what this is...I'll decide should I ever do it. Something cool though.

    Or

I'd cross it over with Serenity since both games are made by the same company. Have them find Earth-that-was and try to get to the new home of humanity. They get there in the middle of the War of Unification.

Most of my RPs are "Here you are...HAVE FUN!!! :p" So yes.

Same Applies to Btech. While Empire Builders are fun and so are "A Cameron in 3020 is you!" are fun...I'd want to run an actual RPG in most settings since they are hardly ever done.
  4. Rieverre Thing That Should Not Be

    That sounds shiny.

Btech, I'm leery on, since I'm only kinda-sorta familiar with the fluff, but I'd be all for, say, a group RP in either of those two settings that skips past the Gather Your Party Before Venturing Forth stage and drops the players in the soup together. 'Course, that'd require more of a player limit than a traditional one-character-per-world approach to avoid discussion tapeworm post.

The main drawback of a Dragon Age setting RP, on the other hand, is that the fluff isn't wholly done yet. On one hand, that means more GM adlib. On the other, it means more pressure on the GM.

But yeah, I'm hoping something comes out of this.
