  1. Rabiddog Less Rabid than before

Well ironically see the thing is that its a paradox to me because while I can agree that it might be a suit the suit would have to be beyond skin tight.......but then again considering she's an artificial woman anyway I guess the argument can be made that no matter what she's not ACTUALLY naked because it's a machine. So I guess the term "skin suit" might be more literal than anything anyway.

So I guess I'd have to concede that "no matter what" the term "skin suit" is a valid argument :p

Which one? External jugular, anterior jugular, internal? Where would you cut? how deep?
  3. No idea about the toes but the Pacifier is standard issue for all Shivers - and if the Gauss Rifle looks rather lethal compared to pistols then fear not - the rounds expand like a beanbag round from a shotgun - perfectly safe for hosing down unruly, but tax paying citizens (and UTTERLY useless on any real threat, note that the Regulars only effective weapon is a self bought/stolen ilegal one).
  4. Minohtar Advocatus Diaboli

I guess I'll take that as an acceptable answer. ;)

  6. Zelinko Indexing The Index

Well that suit also does a bit of an optical camouflage deal as well. Although said cloaks tend to lag when dealing with a bright blooming effect nearby (such as covenant plasma fire hitting nearby)

  8. Tsjoat So, you too huh?

    The Internal.

I would cut as deeply as possible, about four inches should do it, ok, you move one inch left then one inch up from the voicebox, that is where you should cut.

But I suppose you could just cut across the neck, and be done with it.
  9. higbvuyb hfdsjhfgjnsf

Whoops! That guy's going to be so mad that you cut through his mylohyoid instead. And 4 inches is most of the way through their entire neck, can you stab straight through a bone?

Now you just achieved nothing. :(

I was taught to stab people in the neck (sideways obviously), not cut their throat. Is that what you're trying to get at?
  12. higbvuyb hfdsjhfgjnsf

I don't go around cutting peoples' throats but slicing isn't likely to be very effective. Tsjoat wants to come mostly from the front, though, not the side, which isn't going to be particularly effective.

Not that being surprise stabbed from behind is going to be a particularly major concern for Mr Space Policeman there.
  13. Minohtar Advocatus Diaboli

Like this, except that the blade should be horizontal not vertical, so that you can slice laterally to expand the cut once you've stabbed it in. And you'll want to be going in a bit higher up than he appears to be aiming for, and it's easier when holding the blade with a normal grip instead of an icepick one. So I dunno why I'm even posting the picture since he's doing half of it wrong. :(

I'm assuming that they want you to injure the common carotid which means you have to approach from the side:

(For reference, the 'sternocleidomastoid' (SCM) is the muscle you can feel bulging on one side of your neck if you turn your head to the other side.
This slice is almost at the base of the neck - the SCM moves backwards as you go up higher.

Tsjoat's approach is too far to the front. He also wants to sink his knife in 4 inches, which is hilariously almost all the way through the whole neck.

Crappy mask, exposed upper arms, cape can get snagged on something and is too short to be used to glide, hood blocks side vision, and gloves leave thumbs exposed.

  17. Besides perspective issues, I dunno. Those shoulder guards don't seem particularly helpful?

The green things don't glow under combat circumstances, and in any case individuals can turn nearly invisible. I'd also imagine that they'd wear some manner of lightweight combat weave under the armour, but I didn't feel like recolouring the pic to show it.

  19. MJ12 Commando Al-Foamy Subversive

Turns you into an undead revenant, gets jealous of other clothes, has no moral or ethical center, is black box alien technology that nobody understands, has no qualms about massively altering your biology and neurology to better accomplish its mission?

    Oh yeah.

Given it masses 2 tons, it's almost certain that the pilot is kind of sitting in the chest.

The face plate has a weirdly placed seam in the middle of the visor. That might not actually do anything negative, but it's a weird design choice. The high heels are a bit odd though.

I think we've already covered the Section 8 armor, so I'll focus on the Vanquish set.

    Major issues:
-The user cannot see if the HUD and cameras fail.
-Lower jaw is behind dark colored transparent stuff that contrasts with the armor, making it an obvious target
-Thigh stuff looks like it could get in the way of maneuvering in tight quarters
  25. YUIOP10 Through Fire & Flames

I don't believe anyone has talked about Section 8 yet.
