Well, that vaguely sums it up.
And a touch of Widening of the lens, showing things that wouldn't make it past the suits.
Like pinkie dancing around singing about chocolate rain like in the show......while everypony else is horrified because it definitly isnt
What's so disturbing, it's just blood? Not like it's raining shite or something.
We now return to your regularly scheduled carnage Ponies and sonic rainbooms.
Discord's lbeen turned to stone?
Might I suggest the Goliath Solution?
Speaking of Discord.
For those of you who've read that scrap I wrote the other day, I touch upon one prudent point.
For all the power he has, discord was playing very, VERY nice with the ponies. Imagine what he could have done if he were ACTUALLY angry.
What could get him angry, though? Bragging in his face (while he's currently stone) that he's gonna get smacked with a series of sledgehammers by bored humans? Trying to kill him with explosives? Taunting him? (your mamma's a whore!)
What could get him angry indeed. Even upon defeat it seemed more like he was doing even that for the heck of doing it.
Try the "Discorded Ponies" series, I think it is in the rec thread. In that one discord really was a malicious one.
http://alexwarlorn.deviantart.com/gallery/32745467 for the starter series.
http://alexwarlorn.deviantart.com/gallery/32745467#/d4ajwtp bad ending to above.

"So let me get this straight. Ya'll want me to star in a new commercial for ya'll's new bodywash?"
"Yes indeed Mr. Apple. We here believe that a spin off product of our usual will do well among both the Equestrian populations and the 'Bronies' and 'Pegasisters' who have come out into the open. And we believe that you'd do quite well as our Spokesper... er, Spokespony."
"Hm... eyup. I'm in."
*A few months later:*
*Holiday season after the Event:*
Well this nearly drowned in the muck, Im going to have another story segment by the end of the week, any of you guys still writing for this?
Some of you have some pretty good snippits that could be expanded on
I'll likely expand on Dainty's adventures on the Algonquin as well as a segment with the CMC that doesn't involve them getting into trouble. Though they're elsewhere then Ponyville...
Yay more dainty dish
The Wanderer's Chronicle part 1
I am called the Wanderer. When the Event occured, the plane I was in crashed due to being near where Equestria had appeared; I managed to bail out in time, but I fainted when I opened my parachute. When I came to, I found myself in a strange mine. The ones who had kept me captive were...anthromorphic dogs. I thought I was no longer in my own world. In a way, I was right. When I was given my prison meal, I took a chance, and attacked my guard...I ended up killing him. I was sickened by having taken a life, but I knew if I wanted to escape, I had to move on. Taking the dead dog's weapon, I prepared myself, and began to make my escape. As I fought my way through the mine, I met a griffin who these beasts, which I learned were called Diamond Dogs, had captured in their endless hunt for gems..She looked hurt. Her name was Gilda. Together, we managed to escape the mine. Gilda told me that she needed to see an old friend. The friend's name..Rainbow Dash...
Twilight on MLP fanbase:
I am homestly surprised on how well the cartoon based on me and my friends' adventures is loved among all ages. I took a glimpse at older generations of "My Little Pony"..Felt like I ate one too many of those Baked Bads. Anyway, when I read "Cupcakes".... I nearly lost my lunch. What was that writer thinking... Pinkie did get a bit mad, but she said she'd never be like that. I believe her. Though, some people are trying to adapt it into a horror flick... Oy. As for the whole "Derpy" phenomenon, even I'm surprised. Also, I did watch one of those Star Trek episodes with that Q character..Reminded me too much of Discord. I could go on, but this is a good point to stop for now. Signed,
J. Random Soldier on "The Dark World"
I've had the opportunity to read some of your "Dark World" comics, and have heard a transfer of one of the radio broadcasts. Whoever wrote the episodes did a brilliant job of sanitizing what actually happens in those situation.
A lot of the situations are what we pray to see, or are fighting to maintain. The camaraderie and esprit de corps, if you'll pardon my "Fancy," are forged in fire and blood. From what you've said in past discussions... some of us face situations like when you went into the Everfree to face Nightmare Moon... every day for months at a time. Allowing of course for the lack of magic, but the addition of the horrors a reasonably clever person can come up with.
If our show doesn't exaggerate Pinkie Pie too much... imagine the creativity and effort she goes to to make ponies smile applied to hurting them instead.
It's not all doom and gloom, however. Our news reports focus on horrible things... because they're news. They're supposed to be unusual occurences. Applejack bucking apples on her farm isn't news. Applejack bucking an apple tree and getting pears is, if you follow me.
Anyway, I've horrified you enough today,

That I do understand. And Pinkie does go that far. The fandom for Dark World is very similar in Equestria for what Friendship is Magic has on Earth. There are even gender bent artworks of the characters, much like the Colt Versions of me and my friends. I guess that thing is universal.
Forgive the double-post.
"Hey, Rainbow, what you watching?"
"The humans call it "professional wrestling," Twilight."
"You know, that stuff isn't real."
"They get hurt...And I do know that! Doesn't mean it isn't still awesome! In fact, I got tickets to a show!"
sorry I was trying to wait untill i had something to contribute, but as I can't stand it anymore which definition of ISOT are we using? I think its 'Island in the Sea Of Time' but i cant tell, and it's been bugging me for weeks.
It is "Island in the Sea Of Time."
As for the definition of ISOT, I think we're going with "volume of space of arbitrary shape and size along with everything in it being swapped with an identical volume located elsewhere in space and time with minimal to no impact on the contents or the environment surrounding the swapped zones".
Classic ISOT events (ie, Nantucket and Granville) are only a few miles wide. Widening the Lens has a whole continent being moved and is several thousand miles wide. And the biggest one of all that I know of is An Entry With A Bang RR where the ISOT area is fifty lightyears in diameter... and it's only that big to keep Earth from noticing that the sky had changed for 50 years due to light lag.
Well, I've been wondering what ISOT meant...Back on topic..Does it make sense Rainbow Dash is a pro wrestling fan?
New favorite show about humans for Twilight.
And she's going to want to be able to cast that... Not because it's destructive, but because it's insanely powerful 'human magic'.
Pretty much shorthand for "Place gets plopped into another time/dimension/whatevs, out-of-context and culture clashes abound."
Do you want to doom us all?
To be explicit, it means Island in the Sea of Time - or just In the Sea Of Time - referring to a book with that title.
Separate names with a comma.
