Can't remember which one, but my Grandparents collected a bunch of NES and SNES games. So it could have been Super Mario Bros., Super Mario World, Super Metroid, or anything else. Heck, I might have played the computer first, I don't know. I played Warcraft 2 when I was four, so I don't know.
Probably something on an Atari; I was crazy-young and we had a bunch of games; it all blurrs together. Only one that sticks out prior to us getting a NES is ET, oddly enough. Didn't have a fricken clue what we were doing in that game.
I'm fairly positive it was either the first mario game, or duck hunt. The first two games (Pc and console) that I really remember from childhood though are Dune 2, and Contra though.
Steel... somethingorother. Tank driving/shooting game on a 286. Monitor didn't even have color; everything was amber. Hm. I may have played Space Invaders on my Atari before that. My memory's not especially good.
I think it was some Sesame Street game on the Atari 2600 (around 1985-86.) May have been the 5200 or 7800. All I remember is that it had some big button pad for a controller with a plastic overlay on it. This makes me feel old.
Some game on the Atari, I don't know what. The first game I actually remember playing though, would be Super Mario Bros on the NES.
Super Mario All Stars Plus Super Mario World for the Snes. Good times. Good times. Fucking Forest in Mario World. Got stuck on it and when around and around and around and around. I was like 4 man!
Super Mario Bros for the NES. My mom always says that because I got too frustrated with Mario dying (to the point of throwing the controller or something), so she made me spend an hour doing nothing but coming up with interesting ways to kill him. (To get me to realize losing is fun, I guess.) The only thing I remember - and it's a heck of a distinct memory considering I was about four years old - is being frustrated at having accidentally selected two player mode and not being able to control Luigi with the P1 controller.
Either Super Mario Bros or Legend of Zelda on NES at age 5-ish...or a tank game on Atari around the same time.
Probably Mario on the NES. On the pc it was doom 1 on rare occasions i visited relatives and somewhat later Heroes 3 when i finally got a pc of my own.
